Macros and addons are an integral part of a raider's arsenal as they canmake it easier to perform a variety of tasks, improving your overall gameexperience. Below, we present macros and addons that can be useful toa Discipline Priest (WoW 4.3). On the left side, you will find links to theother parts of the guide.
1.1. Generic Macros for Priests
Located the Pawn addon in their list and saw the comment that says 'Updated Pawn to 1.8.11'. Downloaded the whole addon pack ( clicked 'Clone or download' and then 'Download ZIP'). 1.2. Specific Macros for Discipline Priests
While we do not recommend any specific macro for Discipline Priests, we dohighly suggest that all of your heals, as well as other spells that can becast on raid members (such as Power Infusion) be incorporated intomouseover macros. This will allow you to much more easily cast them onraid members.
Here is an example of a mouseover macro. Simply replace Heal with thename of the spell you want to use:

- /cast [target=mouseover,help,nodead][]Heal
This will cast Heal on your mouseover target, if it is a friendly target andit is not dead. Otherwise, it will cast heal on your current target.

Power AurasClassic is an extremely useful addon that allows you to have visualeffects on your screen, helping you track your buffs, debuffs and cooldowns.It is highly customisable and it can make it much, much easier to keep trackof your procs and play your spec more proficiently.
2.1.4. Recount
Recount is awell known addon that most people use for displaying current DPS or HPS(Healing Per Second). We advise you to also use it for checking what youtake damage from and if the share of damage/healing you do with each of your abilitiesis similar to that of other players of your class.
