The ATEM Television Studio software is required to set up the ATEM. You will also need to understand how to change display settings in Windows and how to set up a theme in EasyWorship. You can find instructions for creating themes here. When I then launched the ATEM setup utility app that software reported the same condition that I was not connected to the switch and to check the USB connection. This is the same problem I had on both the windows platform and the mac platform. With Windows I am using 7 professional and the make is using OS X version 10.11.1.
Several attempts to connect my BMD ATEM Television Studio (TS) to my IMac running OSX does not want to connect to my chassis. I plugged in a USB cable to my chassis and IMac to allow me to run the ATEM System utility to determine the IP, SubNet, and Gateway addresses. Everything checked out and the IP address listed for the chassis was correct. Firmware for the ATEM TS is updated and running v.3.0. One solution I found was to power cycle my chassis overnight and come back the next day to find that it's all fixed. I hope this makes me a happy customer, but I don't like the method. This unit is only 3 months old and makes me fear the integrity of the unit to last.
Any suggestions would be most helpful to solve my issue(s).
