You will want to create an Virtual IP (Firewall Objects Virtual IP/VIP) pointing the external interface IP address to the internal interface and IP (and port number if you want to have multiple services use the same external IP). After you've created the VIP, goto Policies and create the policy to allow traffic to the VIP and service. Default image is changed to image# 1/2. Primary and Secondary simply refer to the partition number 1 or partition number 2 respectively. Partition number 3 can be ignored. Once the secondary partition that is to be used to boot the device has been selected, reboot the FortiGate. This can be done using the command: FGT # execute reboot. In the Download drop-down menu, select VM Images to access the available VM deployment packages. In the Select Product drop-down menu, select FortiGate. In the Select Platform drop-down menu, select VMware ESXi. Select the FortiOS version you want to download.
